Quality and WHS Officer (NSW)

Join a leader in the civil engineering industry. This company has grown from strength to strength and now has projects throughout Australia. Specialising in utilities and electrical/civil engineering they have a vacancy for a WHS and Community Systems Support officer/Quality officer based in Western Sydney.

This is a permanent position with opportunity for career progression. The primary function of this role is to provide administrative support for specific aspects of the WHS, QA and ENV as directed by departmental managers. If you have worked in an OH&S role for a construction or engineering company that would be preferable as you’ll have experience with SWMS, JSA’S and NCR’s. There are current Health, Safety , Environment and Quality systems in place and you will be maintaining these. Daily duties include maintaining training registers, coordinating RTO’s, assisting with legislation updates, assist with audit preparation, reports, data entry and follow up and closure of Incident Reports, CAR’S and NCR’S.

To be considered for this role you must have previous proven experience in a similar role. It is critical to have good attention to detail and excellent computer skills. As this is a busy reactive role time management skills and organisational skills are a must in order to succeed. If you have a CERT IV in OH&S and WHS experience this could be the role for you.

An attractive salary package is on offer of $70,000-$80,000 depending on experience. It would preferable to hold a valid Australian driving licence.

For further information on this exciting opportunity with a reputable employer please contact Regina Fitzpatrick on 02 9249 2260 or email regina.fitzpatrick@hays.com.au.

Only applicants who have the eligibility to work in Australia and have local experience need apply.
