Rail Safety and Assurance Manager (NSW)

A national organisation this company has offices all around Australia. They are specialists in providing strategic and technical services to all sectors of the rail industry. They offer many services such as strategic rail services, project management, asset management and safety and assurance. Due to a demand for an experienced rail expert there is a vacancy for a Safety and Assurance Manager.

This is a national role and the main function of the role is to provide high quality rail consultancy services to clients and manage and develop an efficient and experienced team to deliver Safety and Assurance services across the rail industry. You will have an integral part to play including estimating, tendering, planning and delivery. Previous experience complying to corporate requirements and Quality/Safety Management Systems is a must. As this is a national role you’ll regularly liaise with the Regional Director and State Managers. If you have previous experience in Safety Assurance and product and service development as well as an engineering background this could be the role for you.

To be considered for this role you must be a Chartered Engineer with a degree in a relevant discipline. It is important you have significant experience in rail and a proven track record in a rail consultancy team as a senior member of staff. As you are working in the rail industry it is very desirable to have a good understanding of railway engineering and operations.
