Injury Management Consultant (NSW)

• $80,000

A leading age care provider is currently looking for an Injury management consultant to join their corporate services team.

Working closely with the WHS and HR consultants you will be actively involved with the creation, maintenance and implementation of Injury management, RTW programs and workers compensation claims for numerous care homes across NSW. You will also provide analysis and report ensuring accurate information across the board.

Working to the NSW legislations you will manage workers compensation claims to a high standard. By creating a system allowing a proactive approach you will effectively report, process, and track claims.

You will establish good relationships with HR and RTW colleagues, workers compensation insurers, consultants and agents to negotiate the best claims management and premium outcomes to ultimately reduce claims cost and workers compensation premiums.

You will Attend quarterly claims reviews with insurers and ensure there is a clear action plan with accountabilities following each session. You will Provide information around premium estimates and where relevant, individual claims, to the business to direct focus and guide decision making.

You will have extensive experience in the health and safety field with a minimum of a health and safety qualification and RTW certification. Auditor and training assessment qualifications are desired. You will have expert knowledge of up to date safety legislations and the ability to communicate and negotiate with varied clientele.
