Get qualified in OHS with NSCA


Now is a great time to build your skills in OHS. The NSCA is offering the Certificate IV in OHS and Diploma of OHS. NSCA’s OHS qualifications will provide you with:

• A working knowledge of the current WHS Act, regulations, Codes of Practice and advisory standards

• A description of the consequences of exposure to health hazards at work

• An understanding of the skills required to recognise, evaluate and manage health, safety and environmental hazards in the workplace

• An understanding of the skills required to administer various OHS and environmental functions, planning, policy development and ethics.

Certificate IV in OHS

This courses aims to assist OHS professionals with gaining a further qualification and the ability to fulfil the role of Safety Officer in a large organisation.

Topics covered in this qualification include: developing the skills to support an organisation's OHS management system, ability to deal with work safety issues and implementation of OHS initiatives.

Diploma of OHS


This course aims to offer OHS professionals who have a qualification in the Certificate IV in OHS or equivalent, to achieve a further qualification as well as the ability to fulfil the role of OHS Supervisor or Manager in a large organisation.

Topics covered in this qualification include; consequences of exposure to health hazards in the workplace, developing skills to recognise, evaluate and manage health and safety hazards in the workplace and to administer various OHS functions, planning policy developments and ethics.
